Agency Workers Regulations, 1st October 2011

The new regulations now apply and it is vital that recruitment agencies and their clients have firm plans to ensure compliance with the new regulations which give Temporary Agency Workers access to certain shared facilities and information about permanent job opportunities from day one of their assigment and the right to receive the same pay and terms and conditions as a comparable permanent member of staff after 12 weeks. The regulations are highly complex and there is no 'one size fits all' solution.
